What’s worth checking out on your next foodie adventure to NYC.
Levain Bakery’s Cookies
Are there even people out there that dislike cookies? These are the best cookies I’ve ever had in my life. Bold statement, I know! They’re the perfect mix of ooey-gooey inside and crisp outside. They’ve also got quite some weight to them, so you definitely get your money’s worth.
Momofuku Birthday Cake Truffles
Small, but mighty. These truffles are rich and utterly delicious. Think Funfetti, but so so much better.
A hamburger with two ramen noodle “buns.” The star of Smorgaburg year after year, and for good reason!
*Unfortunately harder to find in the colder months, but definitely necessary to mention and keep in mind!
Ample Hills Creamery
You know the ice cream in a cookie cone you’ve seen all over Instagram? Well, this is where you can get it. The cookie cone is unique and tasty (and makes for a cool picture, of course), but I have to say the real star is the ice cream itself. Do yourself a favor and try the “Ooey Gooey Butter Cake.”
Dominique Ansel’s Cookie Shot
The best kind of shot — said everyone, everywhere.
NYC is already known for its bagels, and these happen to be in MINI form! Think bagel version of doughnut holes/munchkins. First of all, mini things are always that much more satisfying to eat, and second, the bagels come filled with different flavors of cream cheese. Your dreams have come true, friends.
Delicatessen’s Mac & Cheese
I wrote an entire blog post on this bad boy because it’s that incredible. Truly drool-worthy.
